I took this photo this morning and it made me think of more ideas.
I think I might do a mini “sub-project” where I do a haiku a day for a month? Maybe write a haiku about that day on a piece of paper and make a mini-collage and photograph it. I dunno.

The strangest thing just happened.
I walked outside, and it was silent. Completely silent.
No cars. No planes. No men hammering on stuff. I wasn’t expecting it. It was startling at first. Eerie.
It stayed like that for about 5 minutes, then a car went past. As soon as that sound died, a kid went by on a skateboard. I waited for the silence to come back, but as soon as the sound died, a plane flew by. I started thinking that the world conspires against the silence, about how rare and endangered a thing like that is. Then more cars, then someone started hammering. I waited. Then it was silent again.
Do you know what it was like?
It was golden!

Yeah, gotta do more art. More more more more more…
- medium and large scale
- search for, gather, look at inspirational pieces
- sketch and write down ideas
- begin to make a list of supplies needed
- go to antique stores, junk yards, thrift stores for materials (it takes a LOT of junk!)
- go back to Lakeland for remaining art supplies there
- search eBay for unusual materials needed (old photos for ex.)
