Today is so exciting! I am so proud of everyone for staying informed and making their voices heard. Everyone wants change. I’m so proud that everyone is standing up for what they believe in and going out there and making it happen.
This is what this country is about! It’s a shame it took such dire circumstances and 8 years of inept failure to make everyone stand up and pay attention, but I’m glad, and I hope we will never become so complacent again.
As an Obama supporter, I have to say that I strongly believe that he is exactly what this country needs. His election could easily be one of the most inspiring and finest moments in our country’s recent history. He really does stand for change. I believe he will usher in an entirely new era in this country, and set a new standard for those to follow him.
Barack is a hero. He is a true inspiration. We NEED a man like this running this country. We need him RIGHT NOW more than ever!
No matter what happens, I am proud to say that I voted for OBAMA. This is history in the making!

enigma
he doesn’t know me
his words speak to me and he’s
never seen me but he’s seen
right through me
it’s extra-ordinary to feel so
understood and alone
words still vibrating right through
like a bus thundering past on the street
to be touched and not to
have touched
he is 72 and really dead already
thick sap in his veins
a comet long burned to dust still lights
up the sky and waits
for the world to catch up
